Have you ever sat there while drinking your beer and thought that you could make a similar product? Many people who have a love for beer think about making their own from time to time. Once they have successfully brewed their own beer they come to find that they enjoy the process so much that they want to make it into their new their new found hobby. Whatever the reason, brewing your own beer can be an interesting and rewarding experience once you get the knack of it.

For those looking into brewing their own beer, there is some cookware for beer brewing that needs to be put together before the process can begin.

Don't worry; purchasing the basic cookware or Kochtöpfe for brewing your beer is not too expensive. It can range between $100 and $200 at the most. First you will need to find a brewpot which is a big pot made of stainless steel.

Make sure that it has at least a 16 quart capacity and it can't be an aluminum pot that you might already have. Next you will need to purchase a primary fermenter which is where the beer ingredients go after you've boiled them in the brewpot.

This will be used for the fermentation process and has to be at least 7 gallons. You will also need an airlock and stopper. This is what lets the carbon dioxide out of our primary ferrmenter during the fermentation process. The airlock and stopper is very important because it keeps your brew from exploding and keeps everything clean and hygienic.

In addition you will need a plastic hose. Yep, just as it sounds, just an regular 5 foot, food grade plastic hose which is used to transfer beer. You will also need a bottling bucket which is a large, food grade plastic bucket with a spigot located on the bottom.

Your bottling bucket has to match the amount of liquid your fermenter can hold because the liquid will go from the fermenter to your bottling bucket. Next comes the bottles so you can put the beer in them for the second state of fermentation as well as storage.

Make sure to have enough bottles for all the beer your brewed. It's suggested to use the good glass ones for both appearance and storage value. To make sure the bottles are clean before hand, you will also need a bottle brush.

If you plan on going with the suggested glass bottles you will need a bottle capper. This is so you can put the caps on the bottles which you will also need to purchase. You should also find a stick on thermometer, the same that is used in aquariums to place on your fermenter.

After all of this is purchased, there are also a few household items that will be needed as well. You will need to find a small bowl, a saucepan, a rubber spatula, oven mitts, and a big mixing spoon.

After you acquire all of this cookware for brewing beer, you are ready to get started making your own special batch of beer.
